Abstract:With the continuous improvement of building energy-saving standards, organic exterior wall insulation materials have been widely used due to their excellent insulation performance. However, their potential fire risks also pose a severe test to building safety. Based on this, the article first systematically explores the current status, key technologies, and development trends of such materials in fire prevention applications, and summarizes the research progress of major materials at home and abroad in terms of combustion performance grading and fire behavior mechanisms. Secondly, by building experimental models, the flame spread suppression effects of different materials were compared and verified. Finally, by combining typical case analysis and numerical simulation, a comprehensive strategy for improving the overall fire performance of external wall insulation systems was further revealed, in order to provide reference for similar projects.
