Abstract:Building leakage not only seriously affects the functional use of buildings, but also causes durability problems such as steel corrosion and structural carbonization cracking. Among them, detailed nodes have become weak links with high leakage rates due to their complex structure, stress concentration, and difficulty in construction. Based on this, the article combines multiple residential and commercial building engineering practices to systematically analyze the causes of leakage in roofs, exterior walls, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and other areas. It focuses on the key construction techniques for preventing leakage in key details such as parapets, door and window openings, and pipe roots, and proposes quality control measures for the entire process. Engineering applications have shown that this technology system can reduce building leakage rates by over 75%, effectively improving the overall quality of the project.
