Abstract:In response to the problems of aging and low efficiency of mechanical and electrical installation systems in old buildings, this article constructs an upgrade and renovation system that covers principles, strategies, implementation paths, and quality risk control, and proposes three major efficiency improvement paths: energy conservation and consumption reduction, intelligent integration, and full life cycle guarantee. The results show that the transformation has achieved significant results. The energy consumption of the electromechanical installation system can be reduced by 25% to 40%, the energy efficiency of HVAC can be improved by 118%, the energy consumption of transmission and distribution can be reduced by 43%, the energy efficiency of water supply and drainage pumps can be improved by 31%, the leakage rate can be reduced by 75%, the efficiency of electrical system transformers can be improved by 73%, and the energy consumption of lighting can be reduced by 53%. The investment payback period is about 2.1 to 8.0 years.
